What Is EMFACE®?
The Emface device is specially designed to increase muscle tone and eliminate wrinkles in facial skin with a combination of electromagnetic and radiofrequency (RF) energy. This combination simultaneously treats facial skin while lifting loose skin and removing facial fat. Collagen and elastin are important proteins in the skin that give it volume and a firm texture. As we age, collagen and elastin production decreases, leading to sagging skin and wrinkles. Emface treatment combats this aging effect with heat energy that triggers the body’s natural healing response and new collagen growth.
The added muscle stimulation from electromagnetic energy pulses creates more dramatic enhancements by improving skin texture and muscle tone in the deeper layers of facial tissue. These high-intensity electromagnetic pulses stimulate involuntary muscle contractions to build muscle and give more support to sagging facial tissues.

What Happens During EMFACE®?
During your Emface treatment, you can relax in one of our treatment rooms while the Emface device does all the work. Emface technology is administered with a few small applicators placed on the cheeks and/or forehead. During treatment, you will feel a warming sensation from the RF energy and mild vibrations from the electromagnetic pulses, but this is considered comfortable by most of our patients. The procedure only takes 20 minutes and once you are done, you can immediately return to your daily activities.
Most patients begin to see noticeable improvements after just a few Emface sessions, with optimal results after a full four-session treatment protocol. Results will develop gradually as collagen rebuilds and muscle mass increases, but after a few months, you will see smoother skin with a lifted, youthful appearance.

Emface vs Traditional Facelift
While a traditional facelift surgically removes excess skin and repositions soft tissue, Emface offers a non-invasive alternative that requires no incisions, anesthesia, or downtime. Instead of stretching or cutting facial structures, the Emface device uses HIFES technology (High-Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation) to contract and strengthen the facial muscles, while radiofrequency energy penetrates deep into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This dual-action approach treats both the skin and underlying muscles, improving skin quality, reducing skin laxity, and delivering a natural lift.
How Long Do Emface Results Last?
After completing the recommended four treatments spaced one week apart, most patients notice tighter facial tissues, more defined facial contours, and fewer forehead lines, with full results developing within 6–12 weeks. The combined effects of increased collagen production, elastin fibers, and muscle contractions contribute to ongoing skin rejuvenation and a more youthful appearance that can last up to one year or more, especially when supported by maintenance sessions every 3–6 months.
